Past meetings:

• The 24 th Biennial meeting of the International Association for the Study of the Liver( IASL)in coolaboration with the African Study of Liver Diseases(AFASLD) was held in Cairo during 7^th -11^th , September 2006

  It was a very successful meeting during which many important topics were highlighted and discussed.

Special courses were also held

• Pathology course: Chronic hepatitis and its complications Clinico-Pathologic correlates.

• Evidence Based Medicine Cochrane Hepato-biliary Group and IASL Course on Evidence Based Clinical Practice

Attendants :Many professors and consultants from various African and European countries attended this meeting and discussions involving different topics were carried on.

Future meetings:

• A meeting will be held in Cairo on the 26 th of April
